La Alcaldía Distrital, en el marco de la campaña Barranquilla Limpia y Linda, realizó la intervención integral de limpieza en la calle 65, debajo del puente de la carrera 38, en el barrio Recreo, en la que se recogieron 8 toneladas de residuos sólidos.
En el sector, con el apoyo de la empresa Triple A, se realizó la limpieza y pintura de andenes, lavado del puente con el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Barranquilla, poda de árboles, pedagogía sobre la correcta disposición de residuos sólidos, instalación de luminarias y separadores viales.
Cabe destacar la relevancia de la comunidad como agente de cambio para mantener los espacios limpios y libres de contaminación. Este programa de la Alcaldía de Barranquilla fomenta la cultura ciudadana, por lo que se hace un llamado a no arrojar basuras a las calles, así como contactar a la línea 116 de Triple A para la recolección de residuos de gran tamaño.
