“Iván Villazón, es un ejemplo para las nuevas generaciones del vallenato”, esa fue la consigna en la que coincidieron los homenajes que recibió el artista en la inauguración del 57 Festival de a Leyenda Vallenata que se realiza en su honor, destacando los 40 años de su trayectoria musical.
El acto se llevó a cabo en el Parque La Leyenda Consuelo Araujonoguera de Valledupar, luego de un fuerte aguacero que ya es tradicional en esta gran fiesta de acordeones.
Iván Villazón recibió reconocimientos, exaltaciones, notas de estilo y medallas por parte de la Fundación del Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata, Gobernación del Cesar, Alcaldía de Valledupar, Asamblea del Cesar, Concejo de Valledupar, Senado de la República, Cámara de Representantes y Carnaval de Barranquilla.
Seguidamente los compositores Fabián Corrales, Iván Ovalle y Jorge Valbuena presentaron una revista musical con las canciones de su autoría que han sido grabadas con el sello de éxitos por Iván Villazón como: ‘El detallista’, ‘Caminitos del Valle’ y ‘Eres todo’, entre otras.
“Estoy muy agradecido por estos reconocimientos que son un verdadero compromiso y motivación para seguir llevando este legado del auténtico vallenato por toda Colombia y el mundo”, dijo el cantante.
Iván Villazón engalanó el desfile de las Piloneras durante tres horas cantando sus éxitos, saludando al público y agradeciendo ese respaldo incondicional de la gente.
